Crypto.com secures MiCA license in Malta

Singapore-based alternate Crypto.com has secured a MiCA license from authorities in Malta after receiving provisional approval in mid-January.

The Malta Monetary Companies Authority has awarded a Markets in Crypto-Property Regulation license to Crypto.com’s Malta-based subsidiary, making the corporate one of many first main crypto exchanges to realize regulatory approval beneath the European Union’s licensing framework.

Securing a MiCA license from the MFSA permits Crypto.com to compliantly passport its providers throughout the European Financial Space, which contains 27 particular person member states.
