Two Solana futures ETFs from Volatility Shares have been listed by the Depository Belief & Clearing Company (DTCC) underneath the tickers SOLT and SOLZ. In keeping with NASDAQ, DTTC is a monetary firm registered with the U.S. Securities and Alternate Fee (SEC) that clears, settles, shops, and processes details about securities transactions. It ensures that after a commerce is made, cash and property attain their recipients accurately and safely.
Volatility Shares filed to launch three Solana futures ETFs in late 2024, providing buyers totally different leverage choices: 1x, 2x, and −1x. The doc states that the funds will spend money on futures contracts traded on exchanges registered with the U.S. Commodity Futures Buying and selling Fee.
In February 2025, the SEC formally accepted purposes for spot Solana ETFs from Canary Capital, Bitwise, 21Shares, and VanEck. On the time of writing, Solana (SOL) is buying and selling at $141.51.
