Securitize adds Stellar blockchain as institutional tokenization gathers steam

Securitize (SECZ), which converts real-world property akin to fairness and debt into tokens that may be traded like cryptocurrencies, stated it added Stellar to its listing of supported blockchains.

The corporate already works intently with Ethereum, Solana and Avalanche and is thought for issuing and managing BlackRock’s BUIDL tokenized money-market fund.

Tokenization, the method of bringing property onto a blockchain, has been producing headlines in latest months, with a rising variety of corporations saying they’re providing, or planning to supply, variations of shares, bonds and commodities that may be traded across the clock with few, if any, geographic restrictions.

Stellar is thought for being a quick and scalable blockchain, the place decentralized property will be configured for buyer identification (KYC), clawbacks and sanctions compliance, the corporations stated at Meridian 2026, the Stellar Growth Basis’s annual convention in Lisbon. Franklin Templeton runs a tokenized cash market fund on Stellar, and MoneyGram strikes cash throughout it every day.

“The Stellar community has constructed the fourth-largest ecosystem for tokenized real-world property, which speaks to the power of its community and the rising institutional demand for tokenization,” stated Securitize CEO Carlos Domingo in an announcement.
