Grayscale’s CFO exits after 7 years with crypto asset manager

Grayscale’s chief monetary officer Edward McGee has stepped down after seven years on the crypto asset supervisor, changing into the newest senior government to go away the corporate, in accordance with a submitting with the U.S. Securities and Trade Fee on Thursday.

McGee resigned efficient July 2 for private causes and never due to “any disagreement with the corporate or its operations, insurance policies or practices,” the submitting stated.

The corporate has named Kathryn Masci and Daniel Plourde as interim co-chief monetary officers. Masci may even function principal monetary and accounting officer and be a part of the board of managers.

Masci joined Grayscale in 2020 and most not too long ago served as senior vice chairman of finance.
