SK Planet, operator of OK Cashbag—South Korea’s largest built-in rewards service—is integrating AIR Id, Moca Community’s flagship digital identification protocol.

This integration permits verifiable identification providers for 29 million OK Cashbag customers and 95,000 retailers, secured by zero-knowledge proof know-how. The system ensures consumer information sovereignty whereas supporting excessive interoperability throughout platforms.

By verifiable credentials, customers can carry their loyalty identification throughout a number of platforms and retailers, turning beforehand siloed factors into interoperable, on-chain belongings.

“What makes AIR Store much more highly effective is using stablecoin-backed rewards,” Shek added. “In contrast to conventional loyalty factors, which may fluctuate in worth or expire, these tokenized rewards give customers confidence that their earned worth will maintain over time.”

Shek cited two key causes for launching AIR Store now: the rising adoption of decentralized identifiers and verifiable credentials as authentication requirements throughout governments, enterprises, and blockchain ecosystems; and shifting shopper expectations round information privateness.

“Folks are actually far more hesitant to share private information with centralized platforms except they see clear advantages or have management over their data,” Shek stated. “Verifiable identification options make it potential to show your identification with out exposing delicate data, aligning with a privacy-first mindset.”
