Anthropic’s IPO continues to be weeks away, however merchants are already betting on it with borrowed cash.
Two contracts on Hyperliquid, a decentralized crypto trade whose trades decide on a public blockchain, make that potential: Entropy’s ANTH and commerce.xyz’s ANT.
Whereas Anthropic hasn’t commented publicly on the contracts, its assist web page says that anybody claiming to promote its shares to the general public by means of “ahead contracts,” tokenized securities, or different mechanisms is probably going providing one thing nugatory.
The Entropy and commerce.xyz contracts, that are perpetual swaps, don’t ship shares or declare to symbolize them. Anthropic hasn’t mentioned whether or not its remark extends to perpetual contracts, that are futures agreements that by no means expire.
“Each different 24/7 tradfi market on Hyperliquid mirrors a worth that already exists some place else BUT pre-IPO markets create one the place none has ever traded, which is why I imagine they’re probably the most revolutionary product commerce[XYZ] has shipped,” DeFi researcher Petro Dmytrilev wrote on X. “An IPOP conveys no shares, no allocation, no voting rights, no declare in opposition to the issuer, worth publicity solely.”
